Ukrzaliznytsia cancels several train services in Odesa Oblast after Russian strikes damage power grid

Suburban train services have been temporarily suspended:
No. 6208 Odesa-Holovna — Rozdilna-1
No. 6207 Rozdilna-1 — Odesa-Holovna
No. 6254 Odesa-Holovna — Podilsk
No. 6256 Odesa-Holovna — Vapniarka
In addition, train No. 6255 Vapniarka — Podilsk will run on a changed route (instead of Vapniarka — Odesa-Holovna).
Ukrzaliznytsia also said that two suburban trains, No. 6251 and No. 6253, running between Vapniarka and Odesa-Holovna, have been combined into a single train with a backup diesel locomotive.
Train No. 6251 is delayed by more than three and a half hours, while No. 6253 is delayed by more than two hours.
Odesa regional governor Oleh Kiper said that overnight Russia attacked the region with strike drones.
According to him, transformers at a transport infrastructure facility were damaged in the strike, causing a fire. Kiper said State Emergency Service personnel promptly extinguished the blaze.
Ukraine’s Air Force said Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 154 strike UAVs, including Shaheds, Gerberas and other types. About 80 of them were Shaheds. Air defenses shot down 128 drones.
