Does he disrespect me?” He then inquired which publication the journalist represented. Upon hearing it was The Washington Post, Trump responded, “You’ve really undermined your credibility now. What else?”
On March 7, Axios, citing a senior White House official, reported that Trump had grown frustrated with Russia’s recent escalation of strikes in Ukraine.
That same day, during a White House briefing, Trump said he had made a “strong” statement toward Russia over the bombings but added that he still found dealing with Ukraine “harder.”
