Berlin should not prosecute Ukrainian nationals suspected of
sabotaging
Nord Stream gas pipelines in 2022, Polish PM Donald Tusk said on Aug. 21, as
reported by TVP

Tusk made the remarks days after Volodymyr Zhuravlyov, one of the suspects charged by German prosecutors, was arrested on a film set in Croatia.
When asked whether he still believed the suspect should not face criminal charges, Tusk said he had not changed his position.
“I will not change my mind here, and I believe that those who built this pipeline should be ashamed, not those who disabled it,” the PM said.
He added that Poland opposed the Nord Stream 2 project and
had done everything possible to prevent its construction, while Angela Merkel’s
government pushed for its completion.
