Late on April 16, Russian forces launched a large-scale drone attack on Dnipro, killing three people, including a child, and injuring 31, including four children. That strike caused multiple fires and damaged homes, student dormitories, a university building, a food processing plant, and vehicles.

That night, Russia fired five missiles and 75 drones across Ukraine, with 55 drones either shot down or lost without impact, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
