By 1:40 p.m., rescue workers had extinguished the large warehouse fire in the Sviatoshynskyi district.
According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, the fire had spread to neighboring premises, but it has now been fully put out.
Reuters published footage showing the massive fire that broke out at the warehouses in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi district earlier in the morning.
17 sites were damaged in Kyiv Oblast over the past day and this morning, according to regional military governor Tymur Tkachenko, who reported on the aftermath of the continued Russian drone attacks on the region.
“Fallout was recorded in the Bila Tserkva, Boryspil, Brovary, Bucha, and Obukhiv districts,” Tkachenko said.
According to him, the damage affected private homes, vehicles, a municipal institution, and hangar and production facilities.
