Russian forces attack Ukraine overnight with five different types of missiles and 64 drones

Three of the attacking drones reportedly turned back to Russia after launch, and another four were lost over Ukrainian territory.
The attacks were launched from:
- Iskander-M missiles - Kursk Oblast, Russia
- Kh-59/69 cruise missiles — Bryansk Oblast, Russia
- Kh-22/32 cruise missiles — Tu-22M3 bomber in Black Sea airspace
- Shaheds — From Kursk Oblast and occupied Crimea
The attack was repulsed using aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare specialists, the military says.
The majority of the missiles did not reach their intended targets.
Air defense units were active in Kyiv, Kherson, Khmelnitskyi, Cherkasy, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhya, and Poltava oblasts.
Khmelnitskyi Oblast reported explosions in the region, and Kyiv Oblast reported active air defense fire.
Russian forces also broke through to the historical town of Konotop in Sumy Oblast, injuring thirteen people and damaging energy and municipal infrastructure. The town is currently in a blackout and lack water supply.
