Suspilne correspondents reported that the ministers plan to discuss cooperation in energy security and infrastructure projects.
Shmyhal stated on Telegram that he will hold the second intergovernmental consultations with the Slovak government and Fico.
"We will focus on discussing the roadmap — our plan for joint activities signed during our first meeting," he said, emphasizing cooperation in infrastructure, the economy, and energy security.
Shmyhal and Fico also plan to address strengthening support for President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's peace plan, Ukraine's EU membership, demining efforts, humanitarian aid, and the country's restoration.
"We continue to work closely in defense procurement and are awaiting the signing of bilateral documents between Ukraine and Slovakia as a continuation of our 'new pragmatism' policy," Shmyhal added.
Previously, Fico expressed a desire for normal relations with Russia after the war it has waged against Ukraine.
