“We also discussed our cooperation in developing Ukraine’s military aviation. We are currently determining which combat platforms our aviation fleet will operate on in the next stages,” Zelenskyy stated on X.
He also announced upcoming meetings and contacts with international partners, noting that on Aug. 10 alone, he spoke with the prime minister of Sweden, the president of Kazakhstan, the president of Azerbaijan, and the president of France.
“We clearly understand the threats. All our partners, just like us, absolutely understand the threats,” the Ukrainian leader added.
“Everyone sees that Russia is making no real steps toward peace, no steps on the ground or in the air to save lives. That’s why sanctions and pressure are needed.”
Previously, the Ukrainian president announced additional deliveries of military aircraft from Western partners, stating that Ukraine’s goal is full integration of its Air Force with NATO forces.
