Kyiv reports strong progress on EU integration reforms

The latest report on the implementation of the EU–Ukraine Association Agreement for 2025 has been published by The Office of the Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration on the Cabinet of Ministers website on March 16.

The document outlines Kyiv’s progress in implementing reforms and aligning national legislation with European Union standards. According to the report, the overall progress increased from 81% in 2024 to 84% in 2025.

The greatest progress last year was recorded in the financial sector, where implementation rose by 8% to 82%. Progress in social policy and labor relations increased by 7% to 87%, while customs policy advanced by 5% to 96%. The agriculture sector also recorded a 5% increase, reaching 79% implementation.

At the same time, the highest overall level of fulfillment of commitments was recorded in statistics and information exchange, which reached 100%, as well as in education, training and youth policy at 99%, and intellectual property at 98%.

“This is the final report on the implementation of the Association Agreement. Going forward, all of Ukraine’s European integration commitments will be reflected in the National Program for the Adaptation of Legislation to EU Law,” the office said.
