Ukraine discussed security and reconstruction with partners in Davos – Rustem Umerov

Representatives of Ukraine’s delegation in Davos held talks with U.S. investment firm BlackRock on projects related to Ukraine’s reconstruction during the World Economic Forum, head of the delegation Rustem Umerov said on Jan. 22.
He also met with the prime ministers of Norway and Qatar, as well as U.S. partners Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff.
The sides discussed key issues, including economic growth, Ukraine’s postwar recovery and security guarantees.
Particular attention was paid to the consequences of Russia’s latest strikes on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure — notably the situation in Kyiv, where the attacks left millions of residents without electricity and heating.
