Russia launches 179 drones, Ukraine intercepts 100 in major overnight assault

During the night, Russia launched 179 Shahed-type strike
drones and various types of imitation UAVs from multiple directions, including
Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Cape Chauda in temporarily
occupied Crimea.
“As of 8:30 a.m., 100 Shahed strike drones and other UAV
types have been confirmed shot down in southern, northern, and central Ukraine.
Additionally, 63 enemy imitation drones were lost on approach without causing
any damage,” the military stated.
The Russian attack caused damage in Zaporizhzhya, Kharkiv
Oblast, Sumy Oblast, and Kyiv Oblast.
On the evening of March 21 and overnight into March 22, Russia
attacked Ukraine with strike drones. As a result, two people were killed,
and 13 others were injured following a Russian strike on Zaporizhzhya.
