Russia launched 52 Shahed drones and decoy UAVs of various types at Ukraine overnight before July 1, targeting the country from multiple directions, including Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, according to Ukraine’s Air Force. Ukrainian air defenses shot down 47 of them.

The Air Force reported that the attack was repelled by aircraft, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces. Air defense systems were active in the northern and eastern parts of the country.

According to the military, 14 drones were destroyed with kinetic weapons, while 33 were either lost from radar or jammed by electronic warfare.

Strikes were confirmed in three locations, while debris from downed drones fell in a fourth.

On the evening of June 30, Russian forces launched attack drones toward Ukraine, triggering air raid alerts in several oblasts. Overnight, Russia struck Zaporizhzhya and the surrounding district four times, damaging a business, igniting a fire, and hitting private homes.
