Fifty-six others were suppressed with electronic warfare. The enemy also fired two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles.
The massive attack triggered air raid alerts in twelve Ukrainian oblasts with reports of damage by local authorities in Sumy, Odesa, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, and Chernihiv oblasts.
Nine private homes were damaged and partially destroyed in suburbs of the Ukrainian capital. While in Sumy Oblast, Russian drones targeted two hospitals, forcing the evacuation of patients and staff.
“A direct hit of a Shahed in a hospital in Sumy, damage to civilian infrastructure, these night attacks are intended to disrupt Ukraine's energy, infrastructure, and normal life,” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, adding that Putin's refusal to implement a real ceasefire means that the world should “increase pressure on Russia and reject any attempts to prolong the war.”
