HUR operation eliminates Russian lieutenant colonel and two Rosgvardia troops

As a result of a successful operation by Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR) with the support of the Caucasus Liberation Movement, three Russian National Guard troops were eliminated on the territory of the aggressor state near the settlement of Tambukan in the Stavropol region, according to the description of a released video.

Intelligence officials specified that the operation was carried out on Sept. 27.

“A Russian National Guard lieutenant colonel who commanded the Vanguard special forces group, as well as the assistant and driver of the Russian unit’s leader, were eliminated,” the HUR said, adding that the group was heading to a training ground but never arrived.

On Sept. 29, Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces reported a successful operation on Russian territory conducted by their troops together with HUR operatives.

As a result of the special forces’ actions, three Russian servicemen and their vehicle were destroyed.
