Ukraine needs its partners to provide it with MLRS weapons, says Podolyak / The New Voice of Ukraine

Presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak has called on Ukraine’s partners to provide the country with multiple launch rocket systems, in a tweet on May 27.

He shared a video on Twitter of footage of the Russian MLRS TOS-1A Solntsepek system, which is capable of launching thermobaric rockets – colloquially called flamethrowers.

The TOS-1A is able to produce massive destruction in a short span of time and is somewhat similar to the Grad MLRS.

Russia used Solntsepekrs during its military operation in Syria.

Artillery plays an increasingly important role on the battlefields in Ukraine, with heavy usage of artillery on both sides. Combat in Zaporizhzhya and Kherson Oblasts primarily consists of artillery attacks at the moment.
