Ukraine finally outpaces Russia in long-range drone strikes, expert says

“In general, our results are really good; finally, our launches have become massed, not isolated,” Romanenko said.
“And finally we can hit enemy targets on a regular basis. I’m talking about Russian ports on the Baltic Sea — extremely important ports. Strikes on them have been carried out almost daily over the last week.”
He called the results significant but warned against trusting Russian claims that they launched more drones than Ukraine.
“If you compare with the Russians, last month — in March — they launched 6,462 drones. That is only what the Air Force recorded at night,” the expert said.
Romanenko added that daytime numbers of Russian drones “are not recorded by anyone,” and that in addition to drones, the invaders use various loitering munitions.
“On the front line the situation is not as rosy as some
sources write, because life there is extremely hard. Anything the Russians can
launch to a range of 40 to 70 kilometers can get through. But in terms of deep
strikes, we have really begun to surpass the Russians. That’s the situation,”
he said.
