According to the DeepState’s data, Ukrainian troops drove Russian forces away from positions near Rubizhne, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Vesele, Vilne Shakhove, Nikanorivka, and Sukhotske.
The 1st Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard similarly announced that over the past three days, together with other units, its troops halted the Russian advance in the area. According to the statement released via Telegram, the action inflicted several hundred casualties on the enemy, along with taking 13 Russian soldiers as prisoners-of-war.
Besides enemy infantry, the corps destroyed or damaged one Russian tank, two IFVs, 37 light vehicles, and three artillery pieces.
On Aug. 11, DeepState analysts reported that Russian forces were actively advancing near Dobropillia (Pokrovsk district). The rapid seizure of settlements in this sector could allow Russian troops to push deeper into Ukrainian territory.
On Aug. 12, the General Staff reported that Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups infiltrated the settlements of Vesele, Vilne, Rubizhne, and Kucheriv Yar in the Pokrovsk sector, exploiting the local terrain.
