Ukraine strikes 3 Russian command posts with Storm Shadow missiles, GMLRS rockets – General Staff

Ukrainian Defense Forces struck three Russian command posts using Storm Shadow missiles and GMLRS rockets, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Telegram on Oct. 5.

The command posts of the 35th and 27th separate motorized rifle brigades, as well as one of the command posts of the 2nd Combined Arms Army of the Russian Armed Forces, were hit. The results of the strikes are being clarified, according to the General Staff.

The combat operations were carried out by units of the Air Force and missile troops and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces.

The General Staff did not specify the locations and dates of the strikes.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the destruction of a rare Russian radar system Nebo-M on Oct. 3, which costs over $100 million. Russia has approximately ten such stations remaining.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on a Russian fuel and lubricant base in Voronezh Oblast on Oct. 4. As a result of the attack, at least one vertical reservoir caught fire.
