Robert Brovdi confirms Ukrainian drone strike on Russia’s Perm Krai

He noted that Ukrainian drones reached Ural Oblast and struck a target 1,550 kilometers from the front line.

“Lukoil’s oil-loading facility in Perm was inspected overnight from May 6 to 7 by the Freedom-Loving Ukrainian Birds of the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces for remaining tanks, valves and other oil pumping and refining equipment,” the commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces said.

According to the Telegram channel Dnipro Osint (Harbuz), Ukrainian Defense Forces again struck the linear production and dispatch station in Perm using Liutyi drones. The channel said the sector containing the last four storage tanks was burning, while the rest had been destroyed in earlier attacks.

Harbuz also said the drones struck the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez refinery. Preliminary information indicated that technical overpasses near a hydroprocessing unit were damaged. The fire at the facility was extinguished relatively quickly.

Overnight into May 7, residents of the Russian city of Perm reported an attack and published videos showing smoke plumes and drones flying overhead.

On April 29, Ukraine’s Security Service said it had struck a Russian oil pumping station near Perm. According to the SBU, the drone attack caused a major fire at the station, with nearly all oil storage tanks burning.

On April 30, the SBU reported another strike on Russian oil infrastructure near Perm. Ukrainian intelligence said facilities at the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez refinery — one of Russia’s largest refineries with an annual capacity of nearly 13 million tons — had been damaged.
