The Russians launched coordinated attacks on Ukraine's energy system across multiple oblasts, including Donetsk, Dnipro, and the western oblasts.
The invaders attempted to disrupt industrial activity by crippling Ukraine's power supply, utilizing drones, missiles, and rocket artillery.
Russian strikes likely damaged Ukrainian power plants, though the system withstood the relentless attacks, British intelligence reported.
"Ukraine's energy grid maintains stable operation despite these attacks," the report said.
This year Russia focused its attacks on destroying Ukraine's defense industry, but Ukraine's energy system remains under threat, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence deputy head, Vadym Skibitskyi, said in January.
