Ukraine will collaborate with the incoming U.S. administration while continuing its fight and advancing domestic production, Andrii Yermak, head of the Ukrainian President's Office, told France's Libération on Dec. 30.

When asked about Ukraine’s response if the U.S. stopped providing aid, Andrii Yermak, head of the Office of the President, said the country would continue its fight.

Yermak emphasized Ukraine’s commitment to working with a potential Donald Trump administration and to advancing its domestic production capabilities.

“We will continue to build relations with Europe, which are stronger today than ever. Europe may not fully realize its strength,” he said, urging Europe to stay united.

Yermak acknowledged the risk of reduced U.S. aid, saying, “Can we do without this support? No. But we have no illusions. We have made unprecedented progress in domestic production.”

Earlier in December, Trump suggested Ukraine might receive less military aid if he returns to office.
