Ukrainian firm unveils Triton sea drone built to scout, patrol and strike

Ukrainian company Global Mark unveiled the Triton uncrewed surface vessel at the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris in June, the defense news outlet Militarnyi reported.

Triton is an uncrewed surface vessel capable of carrying different types of weapons. It is designed for reconnaissance, patrols and strikes on enemy targets.

The vessel is made of high-density polyethylene.

It has a remote launch system for drones or air-to-air missiles designed for aircraft.

The vessel can be fitted with a remotely controlled automatic turret with an optical module and 500 rounds of ammunition.

It can automatically return from a mission using preset coordinates.

It maintains communications through Starlink and a backup channel.

The naval drone is equipped with day and night cameras with a 360-degree view and a fixed forward-facing camera.

In its one-way attack configuration, it can detonate its warhead.
