Russia attacks Ukraine with 25 missiles and 293 drones – Air Force

The Russians launched ballistic missile strikes from four locations — Kursk, Bryansk and Voronezh oblasts and the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea — targeting Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv oblasts.

As of 9:30 a.m., air defenses had shot down or suppressed 247 targets:
— two Iskander-M ballistic missiles,
— five Iskander-K cruise missiles,
— 240 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types and other drones.

Hits by ballistic or air defense missiles and 48 attack UAVs were recorded at 24 locations, the military said.

Overnight into Tuesday and on the morning of Jan. 13, Russia carried out a massive attack on Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, as well as other parts of Ukraine, using Shahed drones and missiles, both ballistic and cruise.

Monitoring groups reported that the targets of the nighttime strikes were energy infrastructure facilities.

It is also known that in a suburb of Kharkiv, Russia struck a Nova Poshta terminal, killing four people and wounding at least six.

In Odesa, energy facilities were damaged in the shelling, and six people were reported injured.
