Ukrainian border guards and customs officers at the Hrushiv crossing point in Lviv region uncovered an attempt to smuggle 120 undeclared arctic fox pelts into the country, officials said on June 7.
The pelts were discovered in the luggage compartment of a bus traveling from Warsaw to Chernivtsi. The 65-year-old driver said he had received them as a package and was supposed to deliver them to Ivano-Frankivsk.
