Ukraine hits Russian command posts and depots with ATACMS – General Staff

The General Staff said the strikes involved, among other weapons, U.S.-supplied ATACMS missiles.
On the night of Feb. 24, missile forces and artillery units of Ukraine’s Ground Forces struck an auxiliary command post of Russia’s 5th Army near Novopetrivka in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk Oblast.
Ukrainian forces also hit a logistics warehouse of a Rubikon Center unit near the city of Vasylivka in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhya Oblast.
In the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhya Oblast, the Defense Forces struck an enemy ammunition and logistics depot near the settlement of Pryazovske, as well as an ammunition depot near Oleksandrivka. In addition, an enemy repair base was hit near the settlement of Yakymivka.
On Feb. 23, Ukrainian defenders struck enemy command facilities in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk Oblast: near Udachne, a command and observation post and a drone control point of occupying forces; and near Pokrovsk, a drone control point.
The General Staff also said that on Feb. 24 the Defense Forces hit an enemy Uragan multiple-launch rocket system near the village of Liubymivka in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhya Oblast.
Additionally, on the same day near the village of Svobodne in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk Oblast, a Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system was struck.
As the General Staff emphasized, Russian army losses and the final extent of the damage are being clarified.
Earlier, the General Staff said the Defense Forces struck an area where a missile battalion of Russia’s 15th Separate Coastal Missile Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet was concentrated. The unit is equipped with Bastion coastal missile systems in occupied Crimea.
