“This technology is officially handed over by the Israeli side, and I think that we’ll get it in full after a certain amount of time,” Korniychuk said.
He said that this is the kind of assistance that could be discussed at the official level.
At the same time, he noted there are many ongoing projects that cannot be publicly commented on yet.
“I think it will take several weeks to get specific (information) on the Iranian drones,” the envoy said.
“Since the government has just started work, it needs to make decisions taking into account the position of the United States as the main strategic partner, as well as the interests of the public.”
Earlier in his inaugural speech to the Foreign Ministry’s staff on Jan. 2, new Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said that the new Israeli government would “talk less” about Ukraine but continue its humanitarian aid.
At the same time, Korniychuk assured that the issue of Russian military aggression “is one of the priorities” for Jerusalem.
“The minister said that he would contribute to providing more aid to Ukraine, without specifying what kind of assistance,” the Ukrainian diplomat said.
