The new interceptor drone was presented to a Belgian delegation led by Prime Minister Bart De Wever on April 8.
According to its developers, the drone has already destroyed more than 20 Russian Shahed drones over the past two months. It can also be used against smaller targets, including reconnaissance UAVs, Militarnyi wrote.
While the drone’s full technical specifications remain classified, its developers said it has a top speed of 200 kilometers per hour and can operate at altitudes of up to 5 kilometers.
According to the manufacturers, this drone is currently the most successful Shahed interceptor in service with Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
Militarnyi added that Ukraine aims to replace expensive surface-to-air missiles with low-cost, efficient drones like this one when countering slow and small targets during Russian attacks.
