Russian forces launched 251 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of attack drones at Ukraine overnight from five locations in Russia and temporarily occupied Crimea, the Air Force reported on Telegram on March 23.
As of the morning, Ukrainian air defenses, aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups had shot down or suppressed 234 of the drones across the north, south, and east of the country.
Seventeen of the enemy drones targeted 11 sites across Ukraine. Eight other sites reported damage
The assault is ongoing with several Russian drones remaining in Ukrainian airspace.
According to an earlier report by Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Oleksandr Hanzha, two people were injured in the drone attack on Kryvyi Rih.
