Russian overnight assault on Ukraine involves 104 drones, 1 Iskander missile

The missile was launched from the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, while drones originated from Oryol, Bryansk, Shatalovo, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Chauda in occupied Crimea and occupied Donetsk.

About 65 of the drones were Shaheds.

Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare teams, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups from the Defense Forces repelled the aerial assault.

As of 9 a.m., air defenses had downed or suppressed 89 enemy drones over the north, south, and east of the country.

Hits were recorded from 13 strike drones at 15 locations and the ballistic missile at one site.

The attack was ongoing as of 9 a.m., with several enemy drones still in Ukrainian airspace.

Overnight into Nov. 22, Russian troops hammered Odesa Oblast with Shaheds, damaging civilian infrastructure and 11 trucks; two people were wounded.

Ukraine's State Customs Service earlier reported that a Shahed strike hit the Orlivka border crossing with Romania, damaging ferry infrastructure and halting operations.
