Brovdi said Ukrainian drones targeted an airstrip where four
Mi-28 and Mi-17 helicopters were refueling and undergoing maintenance between
flights.
The strike was carried out by pilots from combined crews of
the Achilles 429th Separate Regiment and the 43rd Separate Artillery Brigade in
a joint operation with the Alpha Special Operations Center of Ukraine’s SBU
Security Service.
Brovdi said the drones hit the rear central section of the
engine compartment, avoiding the main rotor blades.
At least one helicopter maintenance worker was killed in the
strike, he added.
Also on April 29, the SBU confirmed a strike on an oil
pumping station near the Russian city of Perm, 1,500 kilometers from Ukraine.
Specialists from the SBU’s Alpha Special Operations Center carried out the
operation.
Overnight and into the morning on April 29, Russian Telegram
channels reported a drone attack and explosions in Perm and in Orsk, in
Russia’s Orenburg Oblast.
