Ukrainian drone forces destroyed a Russian Tornado-S multiple rocket launcher at a firing position in Russian-occupied parts of Zaporizhzhya Oblast, the commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi, said, releasing video footage on Feb. 21.

The operation was carried out by the 1st Separate Unmanned Systems Center in coordination with the SBS middle-strike command center.

“These Tornado systems terrorize Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Sumy, Kherson, Nikopol and other peaceful cities of Ukraine,” said Robert Brovdi.

The Tornado-S multiple-launch rocket system has a firing range of up to 120 kilometers.

The enemy system was hit in the village of Astrakhanka in Melitopol district.

On Feb. 20, Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, said SBS units simultaneously destroyed three Russian Tor surface-to-air missile systems in a single night, also in temporarily occupied parts of Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

On Feb. 17, drones operated by the Alpha Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine struck infrastructure at the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai for the second time in a month. The first attack on the terminal took place on Jan. 22, 2026.
