Ukrainian drones destroyed more than 77,000 Russian targets in March, Ukraine’s top military commander said on April 5.
Ukraine’s top military commander says drones are playing an increasingly critical role on the battlefield, allowing Ukrainian forces to destroy Russian targets at a rate nearly equal to artillery strikes.
Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi said drone strikes in March were up 10% from February, highlighting the growing impact of unmanned technology in modern warfare.
“The use of drones not only effectively destroys enemy forces and equipment but also helps save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers,” Syrsky said.
