Ukrainian intelligence carried out an operation that blocked a key logistics artery used by the Kremlin, the Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate said on Nov. 14.

It was reported that an explosion occurred near the village of Sosnovka in Russia’s Khabarovsk Krai, halting freight traffic on the Trans-Siberian Railway — one of Russia’s main rail lines used to transport weapons and ammunition, including from North Korea.

“As a result of a special operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate, a freight train derailed, and the railway track was damaged,” the statement said.

The HUR emphasized that Kremlin security services once again demonstrated their inability to effectively control even the most critical infrastructure facilities essential to the occupiers.

On Nov. 6, HUR operatives struck the Sterlitamak petrochemical plant in Russia’s Bashkortostan with long-range drones.

On Nov. 4, HUR drones attacked the headquarters of Russia’s Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies, Rubikon, which was located in occupied Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast.
