During a Ukrainian delegation's visit and combat experience exchange, Ukrainian forces successfully shot down several drones in Danish airspace, Ukraine's General Staff reported on Oct. 4.

Specialists in countering strike drones launched a Sting drone that hit a Danish Banshee.

Representatives from various European countries were invited to the demonstration, allowing them to witness the effectiveness of Ukrainian solutions against aerial threats firsthand.

The downing was captured on video, and afterward, Ukrainian UAV pilots fielded dozens of questions from foreign counterparts.

"Ukraine continues to train Europeans to counter new challenges. Together, we are strengthening Europe's defense capabilities," the General Staff added.

Overnight into Sept. 23, Copenhagen's airport halted operations for several hours due to drones detected within protected airspace. Danish police could not determine who launched them.

On Sept. 25, drones were spotted over Denmark near military sites, including near Aalborg Airport, home to C-130 Hercules and CL-604 Challenger transport planes. The elite Jægerkorps is based at Aalborg Air Base, and at Skrydstrup Air Base, where drones were also detected, F-16 fighters are serviced.

On the evening of Sept. 25, Denmark closed Aalborg Airport for the third time in a month due to unidentified drones.

On Sept. 30, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian forces had launched a mission in Denmark to share anti-drone expertise. He said this would help build a European system to protect airspace from threats.
