A Ukrainian delegation will travel to Saudi Arabia for talks with U.S. officials on March 10, several sources told NV on March 6.

The U.S. delegation is expected to include U.S. National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, Special Envoy for Middle East Steve Witkoff, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

One source said the meeting in Riyadh—part of negotiations for a peace agreement—will include Ukrainian Presidential Office chief Andriy Yermak and Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha. The meeting was agreed by Yermak and Waltz during their March 5 phone call.

An official in the President’s Office added that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and “his entire team” are also scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia, though sources did not confirm whether the president will take part in the negotiations.

Finally, the “minerals deal” between the United States and Ukraine could be signed on March 11.

Earlier on March 6, Fox News and Axios reporters also said that a U.S. delegation will travel to Riyadh for a meeting with the Ukrainian side next week.

In his address to the European Council the same day, Zelenskyy said that Kyiv and Washington have resumed talks after their bilateral relations were derailed during a contentious meeting in the Oval Office on Feb. 28.
