Where and how to get DNA tested
Ukrainians overseas searching for relatives who disappeared due to the Russian war against Ukraine will continue to have access to DNA testing.
This initiative will be available in Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
The International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) will collect the DNA samples.
To register for DNA sample collection, individuals need to:
- Submit information about the missing person via this [link].
- Call the ICMP in Ukraine at (068) 791-00-00 (available on Telegram, Viber, and WhatsApp).
This project is a collaborative effort between Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the International Commission on Missing Persons.
Collected biological materials will be handed over to the Ukrainian National Police investigators to aid in the search and identification of individuals who have gone missing under extraordinary circumstances.
