Ukrainians evacuated from Iran have safely arrived in Kyiv by bus as part of a joint operation

The Israeli operation against Iran’s nuclear facilities began on June 13, with both countries exchanging numerous strikes, including hundreds of missiles and UAVs.

By June 18, local media reported that 24 people had been killed and more than 500 were injured in Israel due to Iranian attacks. Iran claimed the deaths of at least 224 people within its own borders, including high-ranking officials, nuclear scientists, and military personnel.

On June 24, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Iran had reached an agreement for a complete ceasefire. Axios reported that the ceasefire was set to begin at 12:00 a.m.

Eastern Time (7:00 a.m. Kyiv time), with both countries expected to complete their ongoing military operations by that time.

However, on June 24, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) detected a new launch of ballistic missiles from Iran, despite the ceasefire announcement.

The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office later confirmed that Israel had struck a military site north of Tehran on June 24 but refrained from further attacks after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Trump.
