As announced on Feb. 5, those interested in the job must submit applications in both Ukrainian and English, including a CV, two letters of recommendation, and a cover letter. Applications will be accepted until March 14, 2025.
Candidates are expected to have more than seven years of “transformational” leadership experience at senior management levels (supervisory board, CEO, and C-1 level or partner level) in relevant industries.
In December 2024, the Cabinet finalized a new supervisory board for Ukrenergo, appointing Yuriy Boyko, Anatoliy Huley, and Oleksiy Nikitin as state representatives.
On Nov. 26, 2024, the government approved independent members of the board: Patrick Graichen, Luigi De Francisci, Jeppe Kofod, and Jan Montell. Ukrenergo’s Supervisory Board therefore consists of four independent members and three state representatives.
On Sept. 2, 2024, the board voted to dismiss Volodymyr
Kudrytskyi as CEO of Ukrenergo, entrusting his deputy, Oleksiy Brecht, to serve
as acting CEO.
