On-site rescue workers assisting those injured in the aftermath of Russia’s deadly Jan. 23 missile attack on Kharkiv can be seen in a video posted on Telegram by the Nakypilo media group.

Four people were killed and at least 42 others were injured, five critically, in the Russian attack. Two children, aged 10 and 12, are among the injured.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing at the site of the high-rise apartment that was destroyed in the attack. Civilians, neighbors, and volunteers joined them.

“My dad is there on the first floor. They (parents — ed.) might have been there. I do not know. The phone is busy — must have run out of battery or broke" says the man, whose parents could still be under the rubble.

Russia attacked the city twice in the morning with Kh-22 anti-ship missiles, Kharkiv governor Oleh Synehubov said. Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts were targeted.

Russia launched 41 missiles over Ukraine on Jan. 23. 21 of them were shot down by Ukrainian Air Defense Forces.
