Russia launched missiles and drones at Odesa Oblast on the night of Sept. 26, resulting in the death of a 62-year-old woman, regional governor Oleh Kiper reported on Telegram.
The attack caused damage to buildings and vehicles, and dry grass caught fire, which rescuers quickly extinguished.
Later in the morning, Russia launched Shahed drones at Oblast, but there were no reported deaths, injuries, or significant infrastructure damage from that attack.
Russia's attack on Ukraine on September 26
On the night and morning of Sept. 26, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine using Shahed drones, resulting in explosions in Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts.
More than 15 drones targeted the capital, with air defense forces shooting down about 10.
In Mykolaiv Oblast, Russian forces also attacked an energy infrastructure facility, causing power outages for subscribers.
