Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Joe Biden are scheduled to meet twice
in the coming days, with the first meeting taking place in Normandy, France,
this week, and then again at the G7 meeting in Italy, National Security Advisor
Jake Sullivan said, AFP reported.
Zelenskyy and Biden will attend events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the World War II D-Day landings in Normandy.
President Biden will "have the opportunity to sit down with President Zelenskyy."
“He will hold a meeting with him to talk about the state of play in Ukraine and how we can continue to bolster and deepen our support for Ukraine,” Sullivan said.
Zelenskyy and Biden are set to meet again at the sidelines of the G7 summit, which will be held in Bari, Italy, from June 13-15, and will focus on using frozen Russian assets.
