Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady arrive in UAE for official visit

Zelenskyy said the top priority of his visit is securing the return of more Ukrainians from Russian captivity, along with investments, economic partnerships, and a major humanitarian program.

He previously announced plans to visit the UAE and Saudi Arabia and hold three meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. However, he emphasized that he would not meet with U.S. or Russian representatives.

On Feb. 16, Reuters, citing a U.S. lawmaker and another anonymous source, reported that U.S. and Russian officials would meet in Saudi Arabia in the coming days to begin talks on ending Russia’s war against Ukraine.
