President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded state honors to 865 Ukrainian servicemembers for their courage in defending Ukraine’s sovereignty and selfless duty, according to decrees issued on May 30, the Presidential Office announced.
The awards, detailed in decrees No. 357/2025 and No. 358/2025, recognized personal bravery and dedication, with recipients receiving the Cross of Combat Merit, Orders of Courage I, II, and III degrees, Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi I, II, and III degrees, and the Order of Danylo Halytskyi.
Soldiers also received medals for Military Service to Ukraine, Defender of the Motherland, and For Saving Lives.
