In his evening video address, Zelenskyy said, “Ukraine is taking part in all formats of cooperation with partners for greater security and greater collective strength. We continue to work now with countries that are under attack by the Iranian regime. There are new agreements; Ukraine will be even more represented in new security formats.”
He said these arrangements will strengthen Ukraine’s arms export opportunities and its defense industry.
Zelenskyy added National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov will give a detailed report on the work on April 3, reviewing progress “for each country from the Persian Gulf to Turkey.”
The president also said Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha took part April 2 in a joint meeting with Europeans and other partners on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
“This is important for the global state of affairs and global security,” Zelenskyy said.
“Ukraine has expertise on sea routes and on protecting and
restoring maritime traffic. If partners are ready to act, we will consider how
we can strengthen them and add our expertise, knowledge and technological
capabilities. Right now, it is impossible to imagine real security without
Ukraine.”
