Zelenskyy made the decision based on a report by the Chief Inspector of the Defense Ministry, Ihor Voronchenko.
“I have instructed the General Staff to provide a list of measures to improve the operation of our training centers,” said the president.
“The state is obligated to guarantee high-quality training for those who defend it.”
Zelenskyy added that he received updates on the situation at the front, as well as detailed intelligence reports on Russia’s military planning. Notably, Ukraine’s intelligence officers noted a significant decline in discipline among Russian units.
During the meeting, the officials also discussed fortifications around critical infrastructure sites and the timetable for their construction.
According to the president, the meeting also addressed the situation with drones manufacturing after China has introduced new restriction on the exports of critical components for UAV production.
“We know how to ensure that these restrictions do not become critical for us,” Zelenskyy concluded.
