Kyivstar network failure should be fixed today, says minister
The Kyivstar mobile network failure should be fixed today after affecting millions of consumers, Minister of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Kubrakov said on Dec. 12.
“The meeting regarding Kyivstar has concluded. I hope that everything will be restored in a few hours,” said Kubrakov.
Kyivstar, the largest mobile operator in Ukraine, experienced a massive network failure on Dec. 12.
The company attributed the problem to a technical glitch. The blackout affected much of the country.
“The company’s experts are working to resolve the issue,” Kyivstar said.
