Ukrainian tennis player sets new Ukrainian record after winning US Open
Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmyla Kichenok has entered the top five in the WTA doubles rankings, securing the fifth spot and setting a new record for Ukraine.
This achievement surpasses her previous personal best, when she reached seventh place in March last year.
Kichenok and her partner, Latvia's player Jelena Ostapenko, recently claimed the US Open doubles title.

Kichenok earned $300k+ for winning US Open, it was reported earlier.
She had to postpone her wedding to compete in the tournament.
