The documentary film Rückblickend Betrachtet (eng. Looking Back), created by Ukrainian director Mila Zhluktenko and her German colleague Daniel Asadi Faezi, will be showcased at the Berlinale, the festival's press service wrote on Jan. 14.

Rückblickend Betrachtet (Looking Back) has been included in the Berlinale Shorts program.

The documentary tells the story of migrant workers who built a shopping center for the Munich Olympics in 1972. In 2016, the same location became the site of a racist shooting.

In this work, directors Mila Zhluktenko and Daniel Asadi Faezi explore the connections between generations and the impact of historical events on the modern world.
