Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed who he turns to for advice when he has doubts in an inteview with Le Figaro - the oldest French newspaper, on March 26.
He gave a lengthy interview to the newspaper when visiting Paris.
When asked by the journalist who he turns to for advice in some moments of doubt, Zelenskyy admitted that he, like everyone else, experiences doubts. However, as president, he primarily follows his values and laws.
He also confessed that during the war, his wife, Olena Zelenska, had become one of his best advisors.
"I think everyone has doubts," he said.
"Because we are human. When that happens, I let my values and laws guide me. I ask myself what is good for Ukraine and for the people. But I don't doubt in difficult situations. Like all presidents, I certainly have many advisors. My wife has become one of the best. But the most useful people in difficult times are the ones I ask on the street. Their recommendations are sometimes better than the ones from my advisors."
On March 27, Volodymyr Zelenskyy attended the Coalition of the Willing summit in Paris, which was attended by around 30 world leaders. Following the summit, he also gave a large press conference.
