10 ceasefire violations by Russian proxy forces in Donbas, one Ukrainian soldier wounded

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters in the Donbas has recorded 10 ceasefire violations committed by Russian proxy forces, resulting in the wounding of one Ukrainian soldier.

According to the JFO press center, Russian proxy forces opened fire four times near the village of Vodyane, Donetsk Oblast, with 120mm and 82mm mortars, as well as grenade launchers of various systems.

Two separate instances of weapons fire were noted near the town of Popasna, Donetsk Oblast, involving shelling from 120mm mortars, and firing by automatic heavy grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.

Near Katerynivka, a village in Popasna District of Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian positions were fired on with grenade launchers of various systems, and with small arms.

In Novozvanivka, another village in Popasna District, Russian proxy forces were reported to have used 122mm artillery.

Near Prychepylivka, in Luhansk Oblast, a village 50 kilometers from the city of Luhansk, Russian proxy forces fired on Ukrainian positions with anti-tank grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns.

As a result of the firing, one JFO soldier was wounded. The solider has been hospitalized and his status has been reported as stable.

No ceasefire violations have been recorded by JFO headquarters since the start of the current day.
